In order to promote the teaching reform of computer network practice courses,and meet the needs of cultivating composite talents with strong practical ability and innovation ability,a virtual simulation teaching platform for computer network has been developed.It converts the complicated and boring practical problems of computer network engineering into intuitive and visual observable,operable and verifiable simulation experiments.The platform is designed around the five-layer network protocol architecture,with multi-level and all-round experimental contents from shallow to deep,extending from textbook contents to engineering application problems.Teachers design experimental and examination contents flexibly,supplemented by full process monitoring and guidance,and introduces a comprehensive process assessment and evaluation mechanism.The practice in actual teaching shows that the platform effectively improves the teaching quality as well as the students'innovative thinking and engineering practice ability.
