Machine Vision-Based Digital Recognition System for Laser Power Meter
To achieve automatic power calibration of laser equipment, research has been conducted on the automatic reading and recognition of digital power meter readings using machine vision and image processing technology, resulting in the design of a laser power meter character recognition system. In response to the low accuracy of traditional threading methods in recognizing skewed digital images and the inability to identify decimal points,an improved threading methods has been proposed to accurately recognize digital images with decimal points, and Socket communication is utilized to transmit the recognized digital results.Experimental results demonstrate a recognition rate of 100%for static images, with an average recognition time of 13ms per image. In dynamic recognition with a fixed camera, after digital filtering, the accuracy of the transmitted digital data to the laser equipment reaches 98%,with an average recognition time of 50 ms per image. This system has been applied in practical engineering, improving the efficiency of laser equipment power calibration.
