Exploration of the Teaching Mode of Information Theory and Coding Based on"Problem Chain+Case Analysis"
Information Theory and Coding is a deeply theoretical course, with its traditional teaching mode often emphasizing the one-way lecturing by teachers. The course content is lengthy, and the teaching method is monotonous, resulting in students mechanically reciting information by rote, lacking enthusiasm for learning and having low classroom participation.Based on this,a teaching mode of'Problem Chain+Case Analysis'was proposed, which revolved around optimizing teaching content, enhancing the teaching team, improving teaching methods, and coordinating evaluation methods for continuous improvement. This not only fully mobilized students'enthusiasm for learning and classroom participation but also stimulated their interest in learning and autonomous learning ability. Moreover,it cultivated students'love for the telecommunications engineering profession, fostered rigorous and responsible professional qualities, and ultimately achieved the teaching objectives.
