Generally,the operation and maintenance department is relatively late for participating in the new subway line when it is being constructed.When the project is handed over to the operation and maintenance department,some installation of equipment may not meet the requirements of operation and maintenance in a certain degree,defects of equipment are impossible to be eliminated due to suffering from the influence of comprehensive factors of construction of civil works and the environment.The paper illustrates the concept of orientating of the operation and maintenance requirements of OCS that the operation and maintenance department shall participate in each stage of construction of the new line,so as for that the schemes of various systems and equipment installation in each stage meet the requirements of operation and maintenance and lay a foundation for safe operation and maintenance of subway lines.
