A 10kV line compensation device is used for reactive power compensation.When the power quality is improved,the compensation capacity of the line compensation device needs to be matched.If the capacity design is too large,it will easily lead to overcompensation of line compensation device when the load in 10kV distribution net-work is relatively small,resulting in increased line loss,further deterioration of line transmission capacity and effi-ciency,and further reduction of voltage quality.If the compensation capacity is too small,the compensation effect is insufficient.Although the power quality is improved,the effect is not good.Therefore,the compensation capacity of line compensation device needs to be calculated.This paper analyzes the computational iterative optimization method of the capacity of the line compensation device and the installation node,and carries out experimental demonstra-tion.The results show that this method can improve the power quality.
