Considering the Analysis of Hubei's Electricity Demand Situation Under the Influence of the Spring Festival
During the Spring Festival,the demand for electricity from industrial and commercial sectors decreases,resulting in significant changes in the load characteristics of the power grid and putting pressure on power supply.To ensure the balance of power supply and demand during the Spring Festival,a 30-day study period centered around the official holiday was selected to investigate the impact of holiday factors and temperature changes on Hubei's e-lectricity consumption during the festival.Based on the electricity consumption data by industry,the study quantifies the loss of power load in Hubei during the Spring Festival.Additionally,it compares the temperature and electricity consumption characteristics of 2024 Spring Festival with those of previous years.An analytical method that considers both meteorological and holiday factors affecting electricity consumption is proposed,enabling short-and medium-term electricity demand analysis for special holidays.This provides decision-making support for the power sector's supply regulation strategies during the Spring Festival.
