2000A class marine controlled source electromagnetic transmitter system
Marine Controlled Source Electromagnetic(MCSEM)is one of the effective methods to detect deep-sea oil, gas, gas hydrate and other electrically anomalous targets. The hardware system of MCSEM detection consists of two major parts:transmitter and receiver, and the transmitter system includes components such as remote deck monitoring unit, deck inverter booster unit, deep tow cable, towed transmitter, transmission antenna and tail.Starting from the exploration of the parameters related to the transmitter system in the controlled source electromagnetic field, this paper analyzes in depth the key technology of 2000A-class marine controlled source electromagnetic transmitter system with independent intellectual property rights, taking the core elements of high-power electrical energy transmission,high-current switching inverter, and IGBT-controlled waveform generation as the framework. The results of laboratory tests and oceanic tests have proved that the new hybrid design method of dry and wet compartments and GPS second pulse long distance transmission technology adopted by the transmitter has significantly improved the transmitter current and heat dissipation performance, and can realize stable and reliable remote remote control communication and 2000A-class switching inverter to establish a high-current artificial electromagnetic field source of DC-10Hz in the near seabed at a depth of several thousand meters. The content presented in this paper provides a reference for the design of deep-sea high-power geophysical instruments.
