Application of polarized enhancement raised by nuclear magnetic resonance long and short waiting time in low resistivity oil layer identification:a case study of the Chang 8 oil layer in the western of the Huanqing area
Exploration and development show that low resistivity oil layer is generally developed in the Chang 8 of Huanqing area of Ordos basin,in order to further explore the rich area of low resistivity oil layer in the study area and carry out efficient development,it is necessary to identify the cause of low resistivity oil layer and put forward a specific fluid identification method.Based on the data of formation water, bound water and whole rock mineral X-ray diffraction experiment,it is concluded that high formation water salinity and high bound water saturation lead to the formation of low resistivity oil layer. On the basis of identifying the cause of low resistivity, fully mining the information in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance(NMR)logging, using the FLAG parameter indicated by the difference of moving fluid corresponding to long and short waiting time(dual TW)and the overlap of T2 geometric means to characterize the weak difference between fluid properties, constructing the quantitative interpretation chart of low resistivity oil layer in the study area, and determining the relevant parameter standards. The application results show that the NMR(dual TW)polarization enhancement method can effectively improve the accuracy of fluid identification of the Chang 8 low resistivity oil layer in Huanqing area, and can provide certain reference significance for the identification of low resistivity oil layer in adjacent areas of the study area.
