Application of active and passive source seismic exploration in mineral exploration
Seismic exploration has the advantages of deep exploration depth and high resolution.It is an indispensable technical method for deep mineral resource exploration.There is no essential difference between mineral seismic exploration and oil and gas seismic exploration.It is the key to ensure the successful implementation of mineral seismic exploration by understanding the characteristics of mineral seismic exploration.This paper introduces the progress and prospects of mineral seismic exploration from two aspects:active source and passive source seismic.In terms of active source,the current progress in the acquisition,processing and interpretation of reflection seismic is introduced,and the problems existing inactive source seismic exploration for mineral deposits direct indication are simulated.At the same time,the seismic exploration example of the thrust-controlled ore area in southwestern Fujian is used to illustrate the role of targeted technology in the practice of mineral seismic exploration.Passive source seismic is green,convenient and low-cost.Taking passive source surface wave and body wave imaging as examples,this paper introduces the basic theory of passive source seismic exploration,and takes the exploration of Daqiao gold mine as an example to demonstrate its effectiveness and application prospects in mineral exploration.Mineral seismic exploration is a seismic exploration method that aims to detect mineral deposits.It is not a new seismic exploration method.All active and passive source seismic exploration technologies used in engineering,oil and gas,etc.can be applied to solve specific mineral detection problems.The role of active source seismic and passive source seismic in the field of deep mineral exploration will become more and more important in the future as the exploration cost decreases.
