This article proposes an improved method for evaluating the ecosystem service value of natural ecosystems in national parks with rich species. The Modified Remote Sensing Ecological Index (MRSEI),which combines the Remote Sensing Ecological Index (RSEI) with dynamic habitat index,is constructed as a spatiotemporal dynamic moderator. A comparative analysis between the method using MRSEI and the method using the remote sensing ecological index and Net Primary Productivity index (NPP) as spatiotemporal dynamic moderators reveals that the incorporation of dynamic habitat Index in MRSEI enables a more comprehensive and objective characterization of the spatiotemporal variations in the structure, function, and processes of regional ecosystems, due to the richer spatial information characterized by this index and the consideration of regional biodiversity factors. This approach accurately evaluates the spatiotemporal dynamic value of ecosystem services and offers a new perspective to assess the ecological system services in national parks. Using this method, the spatiotemporal changes in ecosystem service value of Wuyishan National Park from 2017 to 2021 are quantitatively assessed and analyzed. There is an overall upward trend in ecosystem service value during the study period, reflecting an appropriate balance between ecological conservation and resource development and utilization in Wuyishan National Park.
