Research on Forward and Reverse Performance Difference of Induction Machine with Inclined Rotor Slot Shape
The electromagnetic performance of the motor is affected by the rotation direction after the rotor slot shape is inclined. In order to reduce the performance difference between the forward and reverse rotation of the inclined rotor slot motor,a slot shape with slot body inclined is proposed to ensure the axial symmetry of the upper area of the slot shape.Based on the simplified model of leakage flux,a general expression of rotor slot leakage reactance is derived. The slot shapes with radial skewed and slot body inclined are compared, the varied equivalent magnetic circuit is discussed after the slot shape is inclined,as well as the variation trends of the rotor slot leakage reactance and main reactance parameters with the inclined distance. The air-gap path of the main magnetic flux path is isolated with the frozen permeability method,it is assumed that the rotor leakage magnetic field generated by the conductor currents in the slot only includes the slot leakage magnetic field.Considering the influence of the motor rotation direction, the values of slot leakage reactance at different inclined distance are calculated, and the corresponding main reactance values are calculated according to the equivalent circuit. Finally, the output torque and power factor of the two types of inclined slot shape motors are simulated and calculated. The results show that the performances of the rotor slot-body inclined motor are similar in forward and reverse rotation, and the main performances are less attenuated with the inclined distance of the slot shape. The asymmetrical slot opening area of the inclined rotor slot shape is the main reason for the forward and reverse performance difference of the motor.
