High Step-up Half-bridge Boost Converter with Zero Voltage Switching
In order to solve the problems of low voltage gain,high switch voltage stress and hard-switching in half-bridge Boost converter,by cascading a coupled inductor voltage doubler structure in the half-bridge Boost converter,the proposed converter is realized with higher voltage gain and lower switch voltage stress.Using the leakage inductance of the coupled inductor,the zero-voltage-switched(ZVS) of all switches and the zero-current-switched(ZCS) of all diodes are realized,which effectively reduces the switching losses.Also,the proposed converter has a common ground and realizes the continuous input current.The working principle of the converter is analyzed,and various performance parameters of the converter and the conditions for the switch tube of the converter to realize ZVS turn on are given.Compared with other high boost converters,the proposed converter has higher voltage gain and lower switch voltage stress.Finally,a 200 W experimental prototype is built to verify the correctness of the proposed converter principle.
