Bidirectional DC/DC Converter Adaptive PI Control Strategy for Wave Energy Generation and Energy Storage System
In wave power generation technology,a hybrid energy storage system is introduced to smooth the DC bus voltage fluctuation, and when the traditional PI control strategy is used, the bidirectional DC/DC converter in the energy storage system is susceptible to the influence of the input voltage change, resulting in the phenomenon of control effect degradation. In order to keep the control effect of the system stable under the change of input voltage,a voltage-current loop adaptive PI control method is proposed, which can effectively suppress the bus voltage fluctuation on the basis of stabilizing the operation of the bidirectional DC/DC converter in the energy storage system. In order to eliminate the influence of the input voltage and other parameter uptake on the controller, starting from the supercapacitor bidirectional DC/DC converter model, the state equation of the system small-signal model is obtained, the system transfer function under the traditional PI control is derived, the transfer function by the parameter uptake change rule through the zero-pole diagram is analysed, and then the relevant variables are isolated to get the adaptive PI control equation through simplification. At the same time, the controller parameter tuning rules are given, and finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed adaptive PI control method are verified by constructing the experimental platform of input voltage wide range change and hybrid energy storage control system.
