Research on Grid-connected Control of Inverter Based on Improved Virtual Synchronous Generator
The virtual synchronous generator(VSG)can bring inertia and damping to the grid-connected system, but it also brings the problem of active power and frequency in the process of grid disturbance. Therefore,an improved VSG adaptive active power control method is proposed. The control strategy is to accelerate the tracking of the active power command value of VSG and reduce the unbalanced overshooting of active power in the transient process by compensating the deviation of frequency and then superimposed the compensation on the original active power output. At the same time, the dynamic process of VSG is controlled by adaptive coordination, and the sag coefficient, inertia coefficient and damping coefficient are adjusted according to the changes of VSG angular velocity in real time. Finally, the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed control strategy are verified by Matlab/Simulink simulation.
