HDR and Gamut Expansion Technology for 8K Television Signal
This paper discusses the application of High Dynamic Range(HDR)and color gamut extension in 8K television technology.First,the definition,development,application and basic characteristics of 8K television are introduced.Secondly,it focuses on the concept of HDR technology and its implementation in 8K television,as well as the definition,principle,standard and application method of color gamut extension technology in 8K television.An example is given to verify the effect of HDR and gamut extension technology on improving image quality.Finally,the research findings are summarized to highlight the potential and importance of 8K television technology in delivering superior visual experiences.
