Research on Underwater Image Enhancement Method Based on Color Balance and Image Fusion
This paper introduces a method of underwater image restoration based on color balance and image fusion.Firstly,white balance algorithm is used to correct the color bias of the image,and then multi-scale fusion of the corrected image is performed.The fusion processing mainly completes the calculation of the significance weight and saturation weight of the image with enhanced contrast after gamma correction processing and the image with enhanced edge details after sharpening processing.Finally,the multi-scale fusion of the weights calculated by the two maps can obtain the final underwater enhanced image.Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can significantly improve the dark area exposure,global contrast and edge sharpness of the image.
