Abstract
This paper discusses the application and technical advantages of Internet Protocol version 6(IPv6)in radio and television engineering.By comparing IPv6 with Internet Protocol version 4(IPv4),this paper reveals the significant advantages of IPv6 in address space,security,routing and forwarding mechanism.The transmission technology of IPv6 in radio and television network is described,and its specific role in application scenarios such as high-definition video transmission,interactive TV service and intelligent transformation of radio and television network is deeply analyzed.Relevant personnel in the field of radio and television engineering can provide valuable references to promote the wider application of IPv6 in radio and television network.
