This paper focuses on the application of Virtual Reality (VR) technology in radio and television engineering, introduces the concept, development history, industrial development status and industry application fields of virtual reality, and focuses on analyzing the application of VR technology in radio and television engineering, including the application in news reporting, variety production, film and television animation and other fields. At the same time, examples are given to promote the deep integration of virtual reality and radio and television applications.
