This article provides an overview of big data technology and analyzes its application advantages in television news production from three aspects: improving news reporting efficiency and accuracy, expanding news reporting depth and breadth, enhancing news reporting interactivity and fun. It proposes the advantages of big data technology in news data collection and integration, mining unique reporting perspectives based on data analysis, and adjusting reporting content and form based on audience analysis application strategies for visualizing and presenting television news data.
