Research on 3D Point Cloud Modeling and Measurement Algorithm
3D modeling and measurement technology has been widely used in many fields such as biometrics,medical assisted diagnosis,industrial precision instrument processing and detection.However,the existing software is difficult to meet the complex requirements in reconstruction accuracy and measurement effect,and the software upgrade and function optimization are limited.In this paper,de-noising,simplifying,registration and completion techniques are used to achieve point cloud modeling of three-dimensional objects,and then the volume and surface area of target objects are accurately measured according to the information of feature points.The experimental data show that the visibility of the reconstructed model is good,and the measurement errors of the volume and surface area of the object are both within 0.03%,which verifies the effectiveness of the measurement algorithm.
