Research and Application of Ultra High Definition Video Services Based on IP-Based Terminals
This paper mainly introduces the research and application achievements of China Broadcasting and Television Guangzhou Network Co.,Ltd.in ultra high definition video service based on Internet Protocol(IP)terminal.First of all,the independent research and development of an integrated pure IP set-top box based on radio frequency connector is introduced.Secondly,it introduces the self-developed live broadcast packet loss retransmission system,which effectively solves the common problems such as lag and mosaic in live broadcast channels,especially in 4K ultra high definition video transmission.Thirdly,a live broadcast adaptive multi-bit rate,color gamut solution is introduced,which can give full play to the audio and video decoding ability of the built-in chip of the set-top box,so as to display 4K ultra high definition video with high resolution and high color gamut.Finally,the practical value and significance of research and application of 4K ultra high definition video service are summarized.
