Clinical Application and Effectiveness Evaluation of Nursing Mode in Imported Falciparum Malaria
Objective To explore the application value of clinical nursing pathways in the care of imported falciparum malaria.Method Clinical data of 40 imported falciparum malaria patients who visited from January 2020 to January 2022 was collected as research and analysis subjects. They were divided into a reference group(n=18)and an intervention group(n=22)based on different nursing methods. The reference group received routine nursing interventions, while the intervention group received clinical nursing pathways.Observe the disease cognition level, hospitalization time, and incidence of complications in the two groups of patients.Result Compared with before intervention, the cognitive level scores of diseases in both groups were significantly improved after intervention, and the intervention group was higher than the reference group, with a significant difference(P<0.05).Compared with the reference group, the intervention group had significantly higher scores for treatment compliance and shorter hospital stays, with significant differences(P<0.05).The inci-dence of complications in the intervention group after a 3-month follow-up was significantly lower than that in the reference group, with a significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Clinical nursing pathways can promote the improvement of disease cognition and treatment compliance in imported falciparum malaria patients, shorten their hospitalization time, and reduce the incidence of complications.
