Research Progress on Susceptibility Genes of Ankylosing Spondylitis
Ankylosing spondylitis(AS)is an autoimmune disease caused by a combination of genetic, infectious, immune, and environmen-tal factors, among which genetic factors are strongly associated with the onset of AS.At present, the susceptibility genes discovered and the pathogenesis of AS are not very clear. This article reviews the roles of the main histocompatibility complex(MHC)genes related to it,including theHLA-B27 gene,TNF-α gene, and IFN-γ gene,as well as non-MHC genes, including theERAP1 gene and IL-23/IL-17 immune pathway related genes,in the pathogenesis of AS.It is of great significance for further understanding the correlation between sus-ceptibility genes and ankylosing spondylitis.
