Clinical Study of Guipi Decoction in Treatment of Children with Learning Diffi culties and Hyperactivity
Objective To observe the clinical effect of Guipi Decoction on children with learning difficulties and hyperactivity.Methods 91 children with learning difficulties who met the DSM-Ⅳ children's ADHD criteria were divided into two groups according to treat-ment methods,45 in the study group and 46 in the control group.The control group received psycho-behavioral correction treatment,and the study group received oral treatment with Guipi Decoction on the basis of psycho-behavioral correction treatment.After 2 months of treatment,the therapeutic effects of the two groups were observed,and the therapeutic results were analyzed using Conners child behavior questionnaire and the Weiss Functional Deficit Scale.Results The results of Conners score showed that the total effective rate in the study group(88.89%)was significantly higher than that in the control group(65.22%)(P<0.01).Compared with the control group,the Conners score of the study group had no significant difference before treatment P>0.05),and the Conners score of the study group was sig-nificantly decreased after 2 months of treatment(P<0.01).After treatment,the scores of ADHD problems in the study group were signifi-cantly reduced,and the learning difficulties of children with ADHD were significantly improved(P<0.01).Weiss score results showed that after treatment,Weiss Functional Deficit Scale scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Guipi Decoction has the significant curative effect on children with learning difficul-ties and hyperactivity,which is worthy of further popularization and application.
