Prevention of Perioperative Hypothermia in Patients undergoing Laparoscopic Radical Cystectomy for Bladder Cancer by PDCA Cycle Management Model of Quality Control Circle Activity
Objective To explore the preventive effect of PDCA cycle management model and quality control circle activities in prevent-ing perioperative hypothermia in patients undergoing laparoscopic radical cystectomy for bladder cancer. Methods Eighty patients who underwent laparoscopic radical cystectomy for bladder cancer in our hospital from December 2018 to December 2023 were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the observation group. Patients in the control group underwent conventional urological surgi-cal care, and the observation group implemented the PDCA cycle management model of quality control circle activities on this basis . The incidence of perioperative hypothermia was compared between the two groups of surgical patients. The overall competence of nursing staff was compared before and after the PDCA cycle management model of quality control circle activities. Results The incidence of periop-erative hypothermia in the observation group was lower than that in the control group. The theoretical and operational assessment scores of nursing staff after the implementation of management were higher than those of the control group, and the ability of nursing staff was im-proved. Conclusion The quality control circle activities of the PDCA cycle management model can effectively reduce the incidence of perioperative hypothermia in patients undergoing laparoscopic radical cystectomy, which has great application value.
