Transfusion-associated graft-versus-host(TA-GVHD)is a rare but fatal complication of blood transfusion. It is caused by an immune response and usually occurs 2 to 30 days after blood transfusion. The incidence is extremely low(0.01％-0.1％),but the mortal-ity rate is extremely high(≥90％),and there is no effective treatment so far. This article reviews the pathogenesis,diagnosis,prevention and treatment of TA-GVHD,laying the foundation for the diagnosis and prevention of TA-GVHD.
