Application of 6S Management Model to Improve Nursing Efficiency in Operat-ing Room
Objective To analyze the impact of the 6S management model on the improvement of nursing efficiency in the operating room.Methods 101 surgical patients under the traditional management model in a Chinese hospital in 2021 were selected as the control group,while 103 surgical patients under the 6S management model in 2023 were selected as the observation group.The differences in sur-gical efficiency,nursing quality,nursing disputes,postoperative infections,equipment operation,nursing satisfaction,and nursing staff's work comfort were compared between the two groups.Results After implementing the 6S management model,the nursing quality in the observation group significantly improved(P＜0.05),the incidence of adverse nursing events decreased(P＜0.05),and the nursing staff's job satisfaction and comfort were higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion The 6S management model can effec-tively improve the nursing efficiency in the operating room,enhance the comfort of medical staff,improve work efficiency,enhance patient comfort during surgery,strengthen nurse-patient communication,and effectively avoid unnecessary risks.
