With the advancement of standardized training for resident physicians in China over the past decade,and in response to the new circumstances,higher standards have been set for the overall quality and capability development of resident physicians.Ideological and political education plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality and depth of medical training.This article explores the value of ideo-logical and political education in the standardized training of resident physicians,including improving medical ethical literacy,nurturing medical humanistic care,and promoting professional ethical development.It also discusses feasible implementation methods considering the current situation.Through the effective implementation of ideological and political education,the comprehensive quality of resident physicians can be substantially improved,enabling them to become excellent doctors equipped with professional medical knowledge and noble professional ethics.
