Heat transport effect in pulse tube refrigerator with finite filler heat capacity
In order to improve the cooling performance in pulse tube refrigerator, the influence of the finite volume heat capacity on the regenerator was investigated.Based on the two-dimen-sional model of the regenerator, the thermoacoustic process was sloved with finite volume heat ca-pacity.It was found that the thermoacoustic process included acoustic pressure thermal transport, wall temperature thermal transport and velocity thermal transport. The wall temperature thermal transport effect aroused from the periodic variation of wall temperature, which was different from the thermal conductivity based on the axial temperature gradient of the wall and also different from the velocity thermal transport. When the temperature decreased from 300K to 40K,the wall tem-perature heat flux continuously decreased, and the wall temperature heat flux relative to the cross-sectional thermal heat flux increased from 5%to 12%.
