Study on heat transfer characteristics of two-phase flow condensation inside inclined micro-fin tube
The two-phase flow condensation heat transfer characteristics inside the inclined micro-fin tube were experimentally studied.Variation of the heat transfer coefficient under differ-ent experimental conditions inside the micro-fin tube with different structures were mainly ana-lyzed,then reveal the influencing mechanism of the experimental variables on the heat transfer characteristics and obtain the theoretical model of heat transfer coefficient inside the tube. The ex-perimental results show that the heat transfer coefficient increases with the increase of mass flux and vapor quality, and increases first and then decreases with the increase of inclination angle.Compared with the smooth tube, the heat transfer enhancement ratios of 40° micro-fin tube and 25° micro-fin tube increases with the increase of vapor quality and decreases with the increase of inclination angle. In addition, the existing correlation underestimates most of the experimental da-ta,and its prediction errors increase with the increase of vapor quality and fin helix angle.Based on the experimental data, the new correlation shows better prediction effect for 40° micro-fin tube and 25° micro-fin tube, the average prediction error is less than 7%.
