Study on drive control method of small linear Stirling cryocooler
In order to design a controller which can make the small linear Stirling cryocooler start quickly and get high efficiency power input,a drive controller based on STM32F407 single chip microcomputer was designed.Finite element simulation of the linear motor in the cryocooler was carried out according to the output electrical parameters of the controller,and there was no magnetic circuit saturation phenomenon in the simulation.On the basis of the traditional starting method of low voltage starting,manual adjustment to high voltage running,an automatic starting method of half voltage starting,linear rising voltage,high voltage running was proposed,which ac-celerated the refrigeration process of the cryocooler while avoiding piston collision.The driving wave of cryocooler was converted from sine wave to trapezoidal wave by pulse width modulation technology to improve the DC bus voltage utilization rate of inverter circuit.The results of study show that,trapezoidal wave drive mode can improve the input power of the cryocooler by about 25 W,and the cooling capacity is also improved accordingly.
