Research on the Application of Block Chain Electronic Bill of Lading in the Context of Digital Trade
With the continuous advancement of digital trade,the defects of traditional ocean bill of lading are more prominent in practice.Electronic bill of lading(eBL)can not only solve the problem of delivery without bill of lad-ing caused by"cargoes waiting for a bill"in near-ocean transportation or far ocean transportation under some special circumstances,but also meet the needs of the development of digital trade.eBL has been introduced for many years,but it has not been widely used due to the influence of digital technology,operation environment,laws and regula-tions.Starting from the development history of eBL,this paper analyzes the logical framework of block chain eBL system and the generation and circulation mechanism,and makes an in-depth analysis on some problems to be solved urgently in the application of eBL in block chain.Finally,the paper puts forward some suggestions on how to popularize eBL in practice.
