Research on the Trade and Investment Effects of the China(Guangxi)Pilot Free Trade Zone on ASEAN
The research analyzes the effect and mechanism of the establishment of Guangxi pilot free trade zone on the investment and trade development in ASEAN based on the geographical features,which benefits the trade and economic development of the FTZ,and deepens the cooperation between China and ASEAN as well.By com-paring the changes of trade and investment in Guangxi towards ASEAN before and after the establishment of the FTZ,we find that the trade and investment to ASEAN has increased significantly after the establishment.Then,the paper explores the effect of trade and investment mechanism on ASEAN from both static and dynamic perspec-tives.finding that the trade and investment has been expanded on the static level,dynamically,FTZ has accelerated the dynamic adjustment of economic structure and the transformative technology innovation and coordination by absorbing both domestic and foreign on the basis of a synergetic development of cross-border industiral,value and supply chain,technology and creative resources.
