New Characteristics,Impacts,and Policy Recommendations for China's High-level Opening UP in the Evolving International Environment
In recent years,the"unprecedented major changes unseen in a century"have accelerated,resulting in pro-found and complex changes in the international environment for China's opening up.There is a significant insuffi-ciency in the understanding within both theoretical and practical circles,with an opaque analysis of the essence and impact of its main areas and characteristics,potentially leading to deviations in grasping strategic opportunities and challengs and in response strategies.This paper analyzes the ultra-long-term,ultra-intense and unconventional na-ture of the current world economic downturn,studies its possible impacts,and thus proposes several policy recom-mendations for China to steadily expand its high-level institutional opening up.
