Analysis and International Comparison of China's Competitiveness of Trade in Services
Based on trade in services data of UNCTAD database from 2013 to 2022,this paper analyzes China's trade in services competitiveness by using the MS Index,RCA Index,TC Index,and CA Index,and conducts in ternational comparisons with countries such as the United States,Germany,Japan,India,and Brazil.The study finds that China's trade in services is developing well,although its international competitiveness is relatively weak overall,it has been on an upward trend in recent years,with its competitiveness becoming stronger and stronger.From different industries,processing services,maintenance and repair services,and construction services show strong international competitiveness;transportation services,and telecommunications,computers,and information services are clearly become more competitive internationally.To further improve the international competitiveness of China's trade in services,this paper proposes suggestions such as optimizing the trade in services structure and strengthening the construction of digital infrastructure.
