Achievements and Prospects of China-Belarus Economic and Trade Cooperation Since the Implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative
The Belt and Road Initiative is a key link for deepening economic and trade cooperation between China and Belarus.Belarus plays an important role in the high-quality joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative due to its strategic position,geographical location,and unique geopolitical advantages.From 2013 to 2023,China and Belarus have achieved remarkable results in economic and trade cooperation.The mutual benefit of bilateral trade has been improved,investment and construction have been steadily promoted,practical cooperation in infra-structure and industry has been enhanced,which has brought huge benefits to the economic development of the two countries.Looking to the future,China-Belarus economic and trade cooperation has shown great potential in many aspects:deepening cooperation in infrastructure construction to bring new growth points to regional economies;cat-alyzing the opening up and development of China's western regions to birng more development opportunities;and joining hands in green economy cooperation to promote ecological construction and sustainable development in both countries.China and Belarus will continue to effectively strengthen cooperation in various fields,seize the high-quality development opportunities of the joint construction of the Belt and Road,promote the healthy and sta-ble development of China-Belarus relations at a high level,and contribute to global economic development.
