China-Brazil Economic and Trade Cooperation Under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership:Current Status,Challenges,and Countermeasures
China and Brazil established the comprehensive strategic partnership in 2013,and 2023 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Brazil and the 20th anniversary of the strategic partnership.Since the establishment of the comprehensive strategic partnership,economic and trade cooperation between the two countries has continued to deepen,with the total volume of trade in goods steadily increasing.However,trade between the two countries is still facing the challenges such as trade friction in manufactured goods,shortcomings in the development of trade in sevives and invsetment,major power game and uncoordinated regional economic cooperation in the context of anti-globalization.Based on this,the two countries should promote the sustained deepening of China-Brazil economic and trade cooperation by promoting the diversification of dispute settlement,expanding China-Brazil economic and trade cooperation in emerging areas,deepening cooperation in trade in services and investment,and promoting the dovetailing of the two countries'development strategies,among other measures.
