Research on Innovation and Development Trends of Cross-Border Logistics Models in Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Countries
Global economic integration promotes the high-quality development of cross-border logistics,with close trade exchanges between the Lancang-Mekong cooperation countries and a good momentum of cross-border logis-tics development.The primary modes of cross-border logistics include postal parcels,international express delivery,third-party logistics,overseas warehouse,and bonded area logistics.However,cross-border logistics has problems such as high logistics costs,inadequate infrastructure,low customs clearance efficiency,and poor connectivity.Starting from the current situation and existing problems of cross-border logistics development among the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation countries,it is proposed to enrich the functions of border ports on the basis of the international land port-the border port linkage model,adding the function of transportation mode conversion to make transportation modes more flexible.On the basis of utilizing cross-border drop-and-pull transport models,efforts should be made to promote the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation countries'accession to the TIR Convention,thereby facilitating more convenient road transportation between the countries.International railway multimodal transportation is the future development trend of cross-border logistics.Reforming inspection methods,optimizing customs clearance processes,establishing cloud platforms to share information,and establishing standardized"one document system"can make multimodal transportation more efficient and convenient.
