Selection and Strategies for Reverse Logistics in Cross-border E-commerce
Cross-border e-commerce stands as a pivotal element in digital trade,embodying a novel form of produc-tive force.As cross-border e-commerce flourishes,the issue of reverse logistics for returns has become increasingly significant.Achieving cost reduction and efficiency improvement in reverse logistics,as well as fostering green re-verse logistics development,is crucial for the sustainable growth of cross-border e-commerce.This paper adopts a comparative analysis approach to integrate traditional international trade cost decomposition methods into the study of reverse logistics in cross-border e-commerce,delving into their respective merits and shortcomings,offering in-novative reverse logistics solutions that align with cost optimization,efficiency augmentation,and sustainable so-cial responsibility development.The study finds that enterprises opting for the reverse logistics scheme involving bonded warehouses in domestic regions can maximize the value of returned items,enhance the resource utilization rate,reduce overseas waste,reinforce corporate social responsibility,and uphold the principles of green and sustain-able development.By enhancing the digital supply chain empowerment levels of platforms,governments,and enter-prises,leveraging AI for precise predictive analysis,strengthening platform certification mechanisms,establishing standard schemes for reverse logistics,innovating and simplifying customs clearance processes,promoting green development concepts,and improving the quality certification system for cross-border e-commerce,a high-quality development mechanism for reverse logistics in cross-border e-commerce can ultimately be realized.
