Research on the Investment Risks of Chinese Enterprises in the U.S.from the Perspective of Economic Security
As a core strategic means of global resource allocation and market integration, outward direct investment by enterprises plays a crucial role in promoting China's economic growth and ensuring national economic security. In recent years, the hegemonic and protectionist policies adopted by the United States have frequently impeded Chi-nese enterprises investments in the United States, bringing many negative impacts on their development and eco-nomic security.Based on this, the study explores the manifestations and generation mechanisms of the investment risks faced by Chinese enterprises in the U.S.from the perspective of economic security. It is found that due to the dynamic interaction of their own business activities, external environment, and risk factors,Chinese enterprises face risks such as the"politicization"and"national security interpretation"of commercial issues, enhanced CFIUS review, compliance challenges and legal barriers in commercial activities, and the international transmission effect of U.S.foreign investment policies. The paper proposes risk prevention and control strategies and recommenda-tions for Chinese enterprises investing in the U.S.at both the corporate and government levels.
