High-quality Development Pathways for Digital Trade in Hebei Province Based on SWOT Analysis
Digital trade has become the new frontier of competition in international economic and trade rules,not only serving as a new engine for China to speed up the building of a trade power,but also as a new plateau for promoting high-level institutional openness.To build an open and strong province,Hebei needs to promote high-quality development in digital trade.The import and export of foreign trade in Hebei Province will maintain a sustained growth trend,the scale of foreign trade will continue to expand,the emerging foreign trade industry will develop rapidly,and the foreign trade business environment will continue to optimize.However,there are still problems such as the underdeveloped foreign trade service system,limited sales channels,and a shortage and loss of professional talent,all of which hinder the pace of high-quality foreign trade development in Hebei Province.Under the background of the new era,the proposal of the Belt and Road Initiative and the establishment of the double cycle development concept provide new opportunities for the high-quality foreign trade development of Hebei Province.However,challenges such as the rise of trade protectionism,which impedes the import of high-tech products,the Federal Reserve's continuous interest rate hikes triggering regional financial crises,and the insufficient influence of the Renminbi in foreign capital circulation also pose threats.Based on SWOT analysis of foreign trade development in Hebei Province and the general trend of digital trade development,this paper proposes a high-quality development pathway for digital trade in Hebei Province from the aspects of building and promoting comprehensive digital foreign trade service platform,rapid development of e-commerce,digital RMB settlement,and training of specialized digital trade talents.
