DESIGN AND ANALYSIS OF TWO-SPAN FOUR-LANE BRIDGE STRUCTURE WITH VARIABLE PARAMETERS
With the requirements of the 16th National Structural Design Competition for College Students in Guang-dong province, the structural design and production of a two-span four-lane bridge with variable parameters under impact load are numerically simulated by Midas/Civil software to determine the structural optimization design, the re-sults from are verified by the experimental results. The results show that the string crushes during the three-stage loading of the bridge, resulting from falling off and deforming in the nodes that are stressed and complicated to be made. The nodes are strengthened by wrapping with bamboo skin or glue wetted bamboo powder. The section of the main bearing member is designed into T shape, which increase the contact area between the member and effectively prevent the problem of the joint falling off when the bridge is biased by different loading lanes.
