SPECIAL SEISMIC DESIGN AND ANALYSIS FOR A CITY RAILWAY ELEVATED STATION
The design of elevated stations involves codes of urban railways, railroads, and housing buildings. The special seismic design is an important part to achieve the goal of safe operation and to meet the seismic code require-ments of each professional direction.According to three-level seismic grade, the three-stage design for stations is the main idea at present.Static elastic-plastic method is used to carry out supplementary analysis,by which the structural weaknesses are exposed, and the reinforcing measures are proposed.Taking the design of an elevated sta-tion as the case, the main design objectives, design results, and assessment indexes of each stage are presented, and the seismic performance of the elevated station structure is comprehensively evaluated. The results indicate that the elevated station meets the three-level seismic grade, and the platform layer of the station structure undergoes slight damage under static elastic-plastic analysis. The obtained results may provide the reference for similar elevated sta-tions.
