EFFECTIVENESS OF CONNECTORS ON THERMAL PERFORMANCE AND ENERGY COST OF SANDWICH WALL PANELS
This paper tries to solve the problem of large energy consumption caused by thermal bridge effect,and pro-vide the design and research basis of connectors.Finite element simulation method is used to study the influence of different connection materials and types on thermal performance of sandwich wall panel and energy cost in five ther-mal zones.The results show that thermal bridge effect decreases with the increase of the bridge size,and FRP connec-tors do not produce additional energy cost.The conclusion of the paper is helpful to distinguish the thermal bridge ef-fect and energy consumption difference,providing great value to guide the engineering application of connectors.
