RESEARCH ON THE OUTDOOR SPACE DESIGN STRATEGIES FOR PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS TO PROMOTE COMMUNICATION IN COLD REGIONS
As the social crisis of primary and secondary school students has received widespread attention,clarify-ing the characteristics of the external space of primary and secondary schools and its impact on student interactions is of great significance for improving the social development level of primary and secondary school students.Taking Harbin Experimental School as the case, spatial characteristics, spatial boundaries, paths, and landscape facilities are analyzed by behavioral maps, walking inspections, and focus groups. We propose a design strategy that aligns with social relationships with spatial transition that weakens internal and external boundaries, which emphasizes win-ter safety for external space for primary and secondary schools in cold regions.
