ENERGY SAVING ANALYSIS OF THE TOP INSULATION LAYER OF BUILDINGS WITH EMBEDDED VARIABLE HEAT CONDUCTING PIPE
To reduce air conditioning energy consumption, this article further optimizes the widely used energy-sav-ing method of laying insulation layers on the top of buildings.Taking a building in Beijing as an example for calcula-tion and analysis,it is found that the high thermal resistance of the insulation layer at night is not conducive to the dissipation of heat accumulated by the top layer of the building during daytime. In order to reduce the thermal resis-tance of the insulation layer at night in summer and accelerate the heat dissipation,we propose a building top insula-tion layer with embedded variable heat conducting pipe at certain intervals within the insulation layer on the top of the building.During summer daytime, the variable heat conducting pipe does not work;in summer night, the vari-able heat conducting pipe accelerates heat dissipation of the top structure of the building at night. The calculation re-sults show that the insulation layer embedded with variable heat conducting pipe at an interval of 0.3m reduces the cooling capacity of the air conditioning by 15.1%compared to the ordinary insulation layer. In winter, the heat pipe has nearly no heat transfer capacity, maintaining a high thermal resistance state of the insulation layer and avoiding indoor heat loss. The method has significant energy-saving effects and may provide the reference for research on building energy conservation.
