STRESS ANALYSIS OF LARGE LNG TANK DOME STEEL STRUCTURE DURING CONSTRUCTION STAGE
The relationship between elastic modulus and age of concrete is established by finite element model to study the stress characteristics of steel structure of large LNG storage tank in the construction process.The process of separate ring pouring is simulated by the birth-death element,and the mechanical response characteristics of steel structure under pouring conditions are obtained.The variation law of stress at different positions of steel struc-ture with age of concrete and the distribution characteristics of maximum displacement of dome are given,and the ex-pression of maximum displacement with age is determined.The results show that the distribution of stress and dis-placement of the dome steel structure is closely related to the age of the concrete.The displacement of the steel dome structure is the largest at the initial stage of pouring,and the maximum stress appears near the pouring area.
