RESEARCH ON THE INFLUENCE OF CROWDS DISTRIBUTION IN HARBIN COMMUNITY PARKS
Community parks are the main places for outdoor activities of urban residents, and their usage rate and quality have a positive effect on the health of people. Taking a typical community park of Harbin as the case, this pa-per studies the effects of thermal comfort and space organization on users' activities in summer and autumn by means of questionnaire, field measurements, unmanned aerial vehicle observation, space syntax analysis, and SPSS statisti-cal analysis. It is found that the combined influence of thermal comfort and space organization on the crowds distri-bution in park is greater than that of a single factor. The users' activities mainly effected by the UTCI values, the number of activity facilities, and the integration values of spaces in summer, in which the intensity of activity is low due to the hot weather. The UTCI values of each area have a lower effect on users' activities in autumn, in which the selectivity of spaces and the number of activity facilities is the main factor.
