STRUCTURE CHARACTERISTICS OF URBAN NETWORK IN CHINA BASED ON THE AUTOMOTIVE ENTERPRISE CONNECTIONS
To optimize industrial spatial layout and promote balanced regional development, the urban network from the perspective of enterprise connections has become the key to exploring new regional spatial relationships. This study utilizes listed company data of China's automotive enterprises from 2000 to 2020, employs an urban network measurement model, and delves into urban attribute indicators, connection structures, and distance distribution pat-terns. The structural characteristics of the urban network based on automotive enterprises are revealed. The study found that the urban distribution transitioned from scattered areas to regional diffusion, and the intermediary control role of municipalities and provincial capitals are strong, however, there is a significant difference in the resource ra-diation capacity of major cities. The linkage structure of the urban network presents the characteristics of cross-cob-web in the middle and trapezoidal-skeleton in the periphery, and the high value of linkage intensity is located be-tween adjacent areas and urban agglomerations. The study may provide the reference for optimizing coordinated re-gional development.
