THE DEEP FOUNDATION PIT DEFORMATION RESEARCH DURING DEWATERING OUTSIDE IN WATER-RICH SAND LAYER AREA
This paper studies the influence of dewatering outside the pit on the surrounding environment and sup-porting structure in the area of water-rich sand layer. Taking a municipal foundation pit project in Foshan as the case,the deformation laws of surrounding surface settlement,supporting axial force,and deep horizontal displace-ment of pile during dewatering outside the pit are summarized and analyzed. The results show that,under the specif-ic formation conditions and construction conditions,the surrounding water level decreased by 125.9%;the surface settlement increased by 105.99%;the axial force of the steel support decreased by 15.87%;the deep horizontal dis-placement of the pile body decreased to different degrees. The dewatering outside the foundation pit effectively re-duces the stress and deformation of the envelope structure,which also aggravates the surface settlement and uneven settlement. Therefore,the dewatering outside the foundation pit should be used cautiously in the urban area with complex environment.
